In November 1525 Thomas More was appointed High Steward of Cambridge University. At that time the Chancellor of the University was his friend Bishop John Fisher.
The Memorandum on the birth of Thomas More written by his father is kept in the library of Trinity College.
The stained-glass window at the architectural west of the Catholic Church of Our Lady and the English Martyrs in Hills Road includes representations of many of the English martyrs. See photo: St John Fisher in the second bay from the left, and St Thomas More in the second bay from the right.
